What the Bartender Hears is Confidential, Isn't It?

[This is Dominic. Dominic used to work at a five star restaurant called the Pixel Palace.
There, some of video game’s most popular celebrities pop in to have a drink.
Well he doesn't work there anymore, now he works at the House of Mouse, tending drink to all the guests.
Sometimes, they share stories and even secrets.
Because, as we all know, what the bartender hears is confidential, isn’t it?

So here I am tending the bar to the House of Mouse. Yes I work for the mouse of Disney now, isn't that a kicker? Well, I happen to work with many of strange folks, some being those weird half animal, half human types, I guess you can call them anthros. The... Boss kinda discourages from using the term "furries", says it may be too "risky", might offend others but whatever. I've already had Fox McCloud tell me all about "humanies", lord knows I'm done with that whole thing.

Stands up straight a bit as he cleans one of the glasses. Looks to the side of the bar, gives a sort of sigh to himself.

My only hope really is that I won't be dealing as much... interesting sort of characters like I did in Pixel Palace. But, with a bit of luck and a more family friendly enviornment perhaps it won't be so bad.]

[So, Mr. Dominic, how much do you really think you know your video game clientele? Because this guy is wandering up to the bar, looking decidedly un-Disney.]

I'll have a coffee, please. The best you've got. I'll have you know, I'm very particular about my coffee.

Oh, and a pitcher of cream on the side, if you will? Thanks. [And with that, the snappily dressed agent takes a seat.]

[Kind of just waltzed right in... What, he's over 21, even if he certainly did not look it.]

[Although it wasn't quite as exciting in here as he hoped.]

[Excuse the bizzare lizard man while he just stabs the bar counter.]

Screwdriver. Make it pronto, shaven monkey.

[And then a platypus literally jumps onto the bar stool, and ordered a glass of sparkling apple cider. Well by "ordered" I mean "gestured in the direction of the cider and hope the bartender gets the clue".]

[Looks up and see a man approach the bar. Straightens up a bit for the customer and goes to prepare one of best roasted coffee.]

Right away sir.

[While preparing the coffee he took a glance at him, he recognized the fellow. Tilting his head, before looking back at concentrating on making the coffee. His mind started to wonder.

One of the horror games was it? I'm sure there were guns and blood. Although I do not recall what was the premise. One of the more recent ones, not like some of the others like Mario or things that were around for a while. Well it must be the first time in person none the less...

He brings him the coffee with a clear pitcher of cream he got from the fridge.]

There you are. Oh um pardon me, but you're one of the recent ones aren't you? I believe I recognize your face but I'm trying to recall where from.

[York patiently waits at the bar, taking in his surroundings. When the barman came back with the coffee, he nodded, pulling it and the cream back towards himself, studying it a bit.]

... Hm? Ah, yes, this is my first time around here. Just visiting.

Where I'm from? Well, I just made my way back from Greenvale, up in Washington state, so... let's call it that.

[There's a moment where he grins awkwardly at Dominic, then turns in his barstool, pressing two fingers up to his temple.] Zach, seems like the bartender is a fairly inquisitive one. Maybe we can get some more information out of him later?

[A blue haired, stern faced man is sitting at the bar]

[Dominic looks over and notices the kid. Gives a little sigh.

One of the young ones? Well perhaps he just looks young. You'd be bloody sure that happened one too many times to me what with the colorful characters I've met. Although... I do think he maybe from that one game, Disgea? The one with all the little penguins in it. Lots of demons too as I recall. Although they look nothing like demons, just big eyes and adorable outfits.

Comes over to his side. Clears his throat.]

Welcome, any chance I can help you?

[Now here's a character Dominic recognized, one of Fox's members on his team. ...Or, was it the only member? ... Was he also a humanie? Hope not.

None the less, he made his point quite clear that he wanted a drink right away. Making the drink swiftly he put full glass of screwdriver in front of him.]

Rough day?

[Dominic blinked and looked back pointed to the cider. Holding up a cup and gestured if that's what he wanted.]

Do you... Want the cider sir?

[Yup, they're all just the kawaiiest mothafu--HEY! D|]

[Looks one way.... looks to the other...]

.... Do you have anything that's not alcoholic?

[Might as well have something while he's here.]

[Cleaning up one of the cups, he looked up.

This man... Very familiar, was he perhaps that one with both final fantasy and disney characters in it? Well my new boss was in that, I know that for sure. Pretty sure there was some kid with large key saving the world or whatever. Well-perhaps I'm mistaken, but-I guess I'll go ahead and ask him if he wants a drink then.]

Interested in a drink sir?

[Nods, then hands him a note that says "They refuse to serve me alcohol because I'm under 21", in case Dominic starts talking about how it's cute that he's pretending to be an adult.]

[Giving a nod, he listened.]

Ah, alright then, never mind.

[Then blinks as he noticed he literally talked to himself as if he had a blue-tooth in his head. Well he's seen stranger things. He pointed about to ask him why he just talked to himself, but decided it's probably better he didn't ask. Shaking his head as cleaned one of the sides of the counter.]

A rum and coke...

[He looks away, seemingly lost in his thoughts]

[Hm, so I've thought.

Dominic gave a nod and took out one of the small menus. And pointed to the list of where all the drinks are for the kid.]

Yes, here's a list right here for you. We've got a couple of smoothies, milkshakes. I could also whip you up something like a Shirley Temple if you care for a mix of ginger ale and cherry.

[Dominic gave a nod then took down the side.

Well he is considerably cute, very adorable semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action.

Gives a glance as starts preparing the cider.]

Would you prefer warm or cold? Warm, I can provide the whipped cream with cinnamon on top.

[Makes the drink for him, soon enough hands him the drink.

Appears the man seems to be lost in his thoughts...]

Nah, milkshake is fine.

Alright then.

[Walk over to prepare the milkshake, taking out the cream from the fridge.]

Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry Or Oreo?

[Hey Dominic, what if your patron is a Disney video game character from a Disney movie about video games?]

Hey mac, hit me up with a root beer over here!

[Isa takes the drink and looks up at the man with his usual stoic expression.]

No [His expression falters slightly]

[Gives a little smile at him.

Well I can't see why anyone would be embarrassed by ordering a strawberry milkshake. At least not from me, I usually do make the best of the best of I do say so myself. However I'm sure the young one may have been hoping to not look so child-like in an adult-like environment.

It can't be bad as all that now. After all, the color of a pink drink doesn't mean you are just as sugary. Just that you have a taste for sweets... and the occasional cute things, BUT it's alright. No need for judging can be found here.

Dominic came over with the handmade strawberry milkshake, whip cream with a strawberry fruit and cookie on the rim.]

There you are my good sir. Strawberry milkshake, would you like some other dessert with that? Perhaps a round of cookies?

[You're very lucky he can't hear your thoughts, Dominic, or else he'd be pretty annoyed right now. But since he can't, Perry just shrugs, surprise him.]
