The Man Once Named Axel

[Just outside the House of Mouse, a man walked down the street. He woke up in an alley just moments ago, not sure how he got there. Or how he's even alive. Moments ago he helped Sora, unfortunately that took pretty much all his strength and energy. Needless to say he kinda sorta.... Well died. Consumed in darkness and that like.

As walked through the streets, it was quiet, not many people were around, but the Downtown area had a lot of lights on. He breathed in the air, he felt... Different somehow... A heartbeated in his throat, where was he? Was he near Sora, again? What was going on?

Pausing the man looked in the mirror, he touched his cheek where his tattoos once were. They were gone...

... Was he... Finally free from them now? Is it possible that he...? Looking down at himself, he noticed the same organization coat, shaking his head at the possibilities. Biting his lip, what did this all mean?!]

((NO SPOILERS PLEASE--I haven't played the game, this is just to see what could happen if I played him from the very beginning. So pretty much this is all headcanon for now. So please no spoilers.))

[Ven had woken up... somewhere he didn't recognize. He'd left the room and eventually the building, which he still didn't recognize, although for some reason it felt bizarrely familiar to him. There hadn't seemed to be anyone around, so he'd decided to get out of there and hopped on his glider.]

[Disney Town had seemed a logical place to check for Mickey, or at least someone who knew what was going on, which was why Ven was currently stumbling through the town. It'd changed since he'd last been there, which just felt really weird to him - how long had he been out of it? There was a huge gap there with no real explanation. But finding someone to tell him was his best shot, so he turned a corner, still looking around for anyone familiar...]

[Walking away from his reflection. He walked down the sidewalk trying to recollect his thoughts. When someone familiar was near by. His eyes widen a bit, Roxas? Wait-His outfit kinda looks different, just like...

...]

... Ven?

[Hey, his name! He turned, looking for the person who spoke - that voice sounded kind of familiar, actually - and...]

[His eyes widened.]

...Lea?

[He slowly walks toward him. How long has it been...? Too long.]

Ven-Uh...

[Rubs the back of his neck. Before looking back him with a small smile.]

Been awhile, huh?

[TOO LONG - not that Ven would know - and look who literally has not changed a bit.]

[For some reason the new look doesn't completely surprise him. Something about it seems... familiar, somehow. And not necessarily in a good way.]

...What... happened to you?

[There was a boy with blue hair sitting on a bench in the downtown area]

[Gives a sigh as he walks away. Notices a boy sitting on a bench across the street from him. He paused in his walk, his eyes widen as he looked at him. Is that...? No... No it couldn't be...]

[Gives a small smile, as he gave a short chuckle, gesturing away.]

Man, just when I thought this day couldn't get any weirder. First the tattoos disappear, then I show up in when looks like some part of Disney Town, and then my whole past life decided to show up before me. Well that's just rich, I must be in some kinda weird dream state.

[Whirls around at his name. Welp-Sora is here, that must mean something went right... He hopes...]

Sora...? Hey-What are you doing here?

I could... ask you the same question. I thought you died, Axel!

[Rubs his chin.]

I thought I did too... Fancy that.

Yet here I am, either something went wrong or something went right. I'm personally hoping it's the latter.

[Xion was doing some exploring of her own, when she caught sight of a familiar face.]

Axel!

[She hurries over to see him]

[Turns around, his eyes widen, his mouth drop. He was quiet, is that-No-But it couldn't-She's....]

... Xion?

[She pauses, seeing his surprised expression.]

Yeah...

[He comes a little closer, reaches out to touch her shoulder. Then looks down, with a sorta sad expression.]

It... It is you, isn't it?

[Namine's sketching a sketch.]

[Walks by, notices that familiar blonde. Slowly comes up to her, and tilts his head to try and look at her sketchbook.]

[She looks up at to see who's standing behind her. After a moment of surprise, she smiles.]

[Gives a sorta smile back.]

[Kaaaaairi's a bit more hesitant when she sees Axel. Her arms are crossed, and she's leaning against a streetlamp. As a pro, it's someone she knows, someone from her... universe, or whatever. As a con, well... there was that whole kidnapping thing.]

[Looks around, eyes a little widen. Then rubbed the back of his neck as he muttered to himself.]

Shoot... I didn't send myself to go to Kairi did I? ... I know I was kinda half dead but...

[Coming to a decision, Kairi nods to herself, then steps toward him, though still with caution. She'll fight him if he has to! But...]

It wasn't your doing that got me here, was it? [she's not accusing him, she honestly thinks he's innocent this time]
