Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass Meme

• AU PROMPT •

In the stories of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, these were two different types of worlds that Alice visited.

Wonderland, on a golden afternoon, young Alice follows a White Rabbit, who disappears down a nearby rabbit hole. Quickly following him, she tumbles into the burrow and enters the merry, topsy-turvy world of Wonderland! Which culminates in a madcap encounter with the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts and her army of playing cards!

Looking Glass, Alice goes through a mirror there she finds herself in on big chessboard, a magical and fun world. There she meets the Red and White Queens, as well as many other amusing friends on her journey across the chessboard countryside onto become a crowned queen.

These two places, Wonderland and Looking Glass will be the subjects of the character’s AU for this meme. Although you are allowed to combine the two if you wish so.

Whether you want your character to be in Alice’s place or a crazy resident from one of these worlds. The choice is up to you.

• Role You'll Play •
(A.) Alice – You are the stranger entering this new world. Whether curiosity has gotten to you or you simply stumbled inward. You're now here, figuring your way out of this crazy world.
(B.) Wonderland Resident – You lived in the crazy world of Wonderland all your life, you can take a role of one these characters if you'd like, or make up your own. As long as they're mad, you're good.
(C.) Looking Glass Land Resident – You lived in the crazy world of Looking Glass Land all your life, you can take a role of one these characters if you'd like, or make up your own. As long as they're nuts, you're good.

• Places and Things You Can Do •
(1.) Down the Rabbit Hole - This is the main entrance to Wonderland, whether you fell down it chasing the rabbit or was just clumsy you're not slowly parachuting down into a pile of leaves in Wonderland. Careful when taking the Drink Me Bottle when you get down there.
(2.) Through the Mirror - The mirror you came across seem to have this rippling effect, as you go through it, you come out the other side to everything looking completely backwards. And just outside that door is Looking Glass Land.
(3.) Jolly Caucus Race - There's always a jolly race to get people moving or dry from the water. Wanna have fun in it? Join in if you'd like!
(4.) Lost in the Woods - You've been wondering around this place for while. You're bound to get lost, whether you come across someone or something in the woods is all up to you.
(5.) White Rabbit's House - Either the rabbit sent you in to get his gloves and fan, or you're curious about the residence. Either way, maybe you should be careful of those 'eat me' cookies that are in a bowl in his room. You could grow large enough get stuck in his room after all.
(6.) Field of Talking Flowers - There's also nice lovely field of flowers. They all talk by the way. Perfectly normal.
(7.) One Side to Size - So there's a couple of mushrooms in Wonderland. One side will make you grow larger, the other side smaller. But the thing is, no one will tell you which side is which. You're gonna have to guess, HAVE FUN WITH THAT.
(8.) Train to the Next Square - On the giant chessboard of Looking Glass Land there's a train that gets you to the next destination. The train itself is also very strange as well as the other people on it, but you need to get to next square don't you?
(9.) Mad Tea Party - The Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Dormouse always seem to be having this crazy tea party going on. Shall you join in on their madness?
(10.) Wrong Territory - You might in the wrong area, careful you might get captured by the Red Knight or White Knight or even the Playing Cards. Shall someone come to save you from getting captured?
(11.) The Red or White Queen's Castle - Royality is an odd thing in this world, want to explore one of these queen's castles?
(12.) Queen of Heart's Rose Garden Maze - There's a lot of roses that are painted red, it also seems to go on and on... Uh oh. It's a maze!
(13.) Do You Play Croquet? - Have you ever played a croquet game with a flamingo for your mallet and hedgehogs for your ball? Well now you are, also the Queen always wins. It's a completely fair game, I don't know what you're talking about.
(14.) Seaside Sobbing - There's a beach just near by the Queen's palace. It's also where the Mock Turtle and Griffon hang out, talking about their feelings n such. They have many feels. Shall you explore this place?
(15.) Beware the Jabberwocky - There's a darkness in Looking Glass Land as well. The terrifying Jabberwocky, with eyes of flame may come out from the woods to try and get you. You better find that vorpal sword or you're dead meat!
(16.) Trial of Hearts - Who's being put on trial here? Is it you? Someone else? Either way whatever the crime it has to be ridculous. Like stealing the Queen's tarts or the cookie from the cookie jar. Either way by Wonderland logic, it's a crime!
(17.) Crowned King or Queen - You made it to the last square of Looking Glass Land. You're now to be crowned as it's next ruler over the land. So how do you handle this new power over completely crazy people as well as it's creatures/objects around you? ... You should probably take some advil for the headache you're about to have actually...
(18.) Wild Card - Make something up if you'd like! As long as it fits the Wonderland/Looking Glass theme!

[Arthur looked toward the voice as he listened, he gave a sigh with a pout. Normally he wasn't so grumpy, but he had a long day. But her bringing up the possibility of showing herself did get him curious as he inquired.]

To make one takes a little delight

Batman-! Wait no, that's not right.

That would have been flaps all night...

[He accidentally rhymed from that, as looked down at himself for a moment in confusion. But shakes his head as he tries to think.]

Let's see... if I see it, it feels joy...

[There's some light giggling as he works his way through the riddle, and when he finally gets it...

A HUGE grin appears right in front of his face.]

It is indeed~!

[Arthur jumped back a bit in surprised, as he slipped on his own feet and stumbled on the ground.]

Whoa-ah-! You-You're actually a... a...

You're a smiling pair of teeth?

[The mouth laughs as big, blue eyes appear above it, slowly followed by a pink-hued human face, LOADS of rose-colored curls, pink and purple cat ears, a furry party dress in the same colors, and a long, swishy cat tail!]

That's not ALL I am, silly~!

[Arthur took in a breath for a moment as he observed this magical cat creature appear in front of him. Then gave a curious smile.]

Whoooa, so you're a cat?

[Well, catGIRL, but this one's not in the mood to mince words.]

Yes indeedy~! Pinkie Pie the Cheshire Cat, at your service!

Oh well it's a pleasure to meet you Pinkie.

[Gives a slight bow in greeting before he gestured.]

My name is Arthur I'm... Not from around here.

In fact I kinda fell into this world.

... Literally.

[She giggles at the bow, and takes the hem of her full, knee-high skirt in her fingers for a curtsy.]

Nice to meet you too, good sir!

Ooh, OOH! Did you float down on an umbrella? Or a balloon! PLEASE say it was a balloon!

[Arthur thought back to when he fell down the rabbit hole.]

W-Well I, I floated down, but it was an umbrella that kept me balanced. I grabbed one off the nearby shelf in desperation when I was falling-How'dja guess anyway?

Oh, I didn't guess! LOTS of humans come through here that way! Just ONCE, though, I wish they'd use a balloon instead of that silly umbrella!

[Arthur blinks is surprise.]

R-Really?

You mean I'm not the only one who fell down here?

Oh, definitely! Heck, I was kinda surprised, since you're a boy! Not a lot of human boys or named Alice, I think! It just sounds a LOT more like a girl's name, you know?

[Arthur rubbed the back of his neck.]

W-Well yes I'm a boy but-

I was just-I saw this White Rabbit, and I was curious.

I mean I never saw a talking rabbit before, annnnd I kinda fell down that hole.

Did that happen to them too?

YeeUP! Silly rabbit, always thinks going through that other world is a good shortcut, but he's still ALWAYS late!

[Even as she says this, her body starts fading away, her eyes and smile following just a beat later. The next time he hears and sees her it'll be RIGHT over his shoulder, the catgirl floating in the air as if she were lying on the stomach.]

He should just learn to disappear and reappear, like me!

[Arthur blinked in confusion at first where'd she go? As he was looking around she appears right over his shoulder as he gave out a surprised yelp and flailed for a moment.]

I-I gotta say, it must be a hard task to do such a thing in the first place.

[Gestures toward her.]

Might be easy for you, but for guys like me and that rabbit it's hard to do such a thing.

[Looks down as he rubs the back of his neck.]

Although... Being able to turn invisible, I would actually love to do something like that...

OOOOOH why? Is someone gonna be naughty~?

[By which the kittygirl means burglaring, not anything Arthur might be thinking she means.]

[Looks at her in confusion for second, but shakes his head when he guesses what she meant by that.]

Wh-Uh, no nothing like that.

[Rubs the back of his neck as he looked at her.]

I just uh... you know I, don't want to be noticed sometimes.

Right, for burglary!

[Said in a completely chipper, possibly easy-to-miss-what-she-just-said tone.]

Oh now, really.

[Gives an unamused look as he folds his arms at her.]

Do I look like a burgular to you?

I dunno, what do burglars usually look like where you come from?

They're wearing a mask or something to conceal their identity and all black so they blend in with the shadows.

[Arthur looked at himself.]

And I'm wearing neither of those things so.

Weeell your CLOTHES are all black with dirt! [Giving his shirt a brief pluck for emphasis before she floats around to see him eye to eye.] As for the maaaask... let's test that, shall we!

[Aaaand reaching up to see if the human's face comes off now.]
