What the Bartender Hears is Confidential, Isn't It?
[This is Dominic. Dominic used to work at a five star restaurant called the Pixel Palace.
There, some of video game’s most popular celebrities pop in to have a drink.
Well he doesn't work there anymore, now he works at the House of Mouse, tending drink to all the guests.
Sometimes, they share stories and even secrets.
Because, as we all know, what the bartender hears is confidential, isn’t it?
...
So here I am tending the bar to the House of Mouse. Yes I work for the mouse of Disney now, isn't that a kicker? Well, I happen to work with many of strange folks, some being those weird half animal, half human types, I guess you can call them anthros. The... Boss kinda discourages from using the term "furries", says it may be too "risky", might offend others but whatever. I've already had Fox McCloud tell me all about "humanies", lord knows I'm done with that whole thing.
Stands up straight a bit as he cleans one of the glasses. Looks to the side of the bar, gives a sort of sigh to himself.
My only hope really is that I won't be dealing as much... interesting sort of characters like I did in Pixel Palace. But, with a bit of luck and a more family friendly enviornment perhaps it won't be so bad.]

This is probably a silly question, but in comparison...
Do you think I sound like a chipmunk?

[Gestures his hands as he took a breathe.]
Do I talk too much? Like a... Chipmunk would I suppose?

[Relaxes his shoulder, gives a sigh.]
I thought you might say that.

I guess preferring the silence has it's benefits. For one thing you learn less about things you don't want to know.
... Although the morbid curiosity can be vile temptress. I know that too well.

Vhere I come from, curiosity vould end in broken kneecaps.

...
Wherever...
It is...
You come from...
[Was it Russia? I'm pretty sure that's a russian accent. I would make in a Soviet Russia joke but that's too cliche... Oh alright I'll make it anyway. *clears throat* "In Soviet Russia, confusion morbids YOU." *gives a chuckle... then looks down* I am ashamed at myself...]

[He quirks an eyebrow.]

I... Will refrain from inquiring any further then. My apologies.

[That grunt is all Dominic gets in reply to that, as Viktor turns his attention to the glass he's cleaning.
He's not going to mention that the knee injuries were from after the war.]

Unless they got big eyes and short, then they're kids. Or they're hunched back and got grey hair, they're old. Either way you REALLY can't tell. I am assuming whatever age he is, he appears to be around the same age as I. Obviously he's much more experienced with "life" than I am, but more in nasty dark way. The like I prefer to keep my hair out of. And Oi, any commenter about my own balding hair will be smacked upside the head, you can bloody be sure of that!
Still I guess there was many of things that happened to this poor bloke. But I can't say that I want to know, more of how my curiosity wants to perceive the notion. Was he a spy? Was he caught by the enemy? Was he trying to save a comrade? I just can't help but have so many questions!
But... Seeing as how I still have my limbs, my skin isn't broken, I do not need any pain killers. And I rather not have them thanks to my morbid curiosity. So I best just leave it at that.]

*gives a sigh*
Well I guess I just have to keep guessing...
You see a lot of strange things as a bartender. You see a lot of strange things at the House of Mouse. So, I see a lot of strange things as a bartender at the House of Mouse. And that ain’t no lie. Swear to it.]
